A dominant suppressor of crc lethality. Expression is temperature-sensitive in Su(crc) crc/crc heterozygotes and Su(crc) crc hemizygotes with a temperature-sensitive period beginning before pupariation and ending at the time of pupation. The effective lethal period for the suppressor genotypes at 30oC is at the end of the pupal period, not during prepupal stages as is the case for crc homozygotes.
Dominant suppressor of crc1 lethality. This phenotype is temperature-sensitive; Su(crc)1 crc1 double homozygotes and Su(crc)1 crc1/crc1 flies do not survive at 30oC. The temperature-sensitive period begins before pupariation and ends about 12 hours post-pupariation. The effective lethal phase is at the end of the pupal period.
