Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Displays a stronger female-lethal synergistic interaction with loss of function Sxl mutations (Sxlf1 and SxlfP7B0) than snfJ210 (amorphic). SxlcF1.otu can suppress the interaction phenotype. One copy of P{SxlcF1} in wild type males, even under nonheat shock conditions, recovers only 2% of expected males. 67% of expected males are recovered from snfe8H; P{SxlcF1} males.

Whereas female progeny heterozygous for Sxlf9 from snfe8H mothers are recovered less frequently than expected (65% relative viability), female progeny heterozygous for SxlfLS (defective in a later, maintenance/expression function) are fully viable.

snfe8H and snf1 fail to complement each other and snfJA2 partially complements snfe8H and snf1.
