Description

Fusion site is at the first conserved cysteine in the C terminus (amino acid 485 in dpp and 306 in BMP4) 30 amino acids from the putative proteolytic cleavage site. dpp genomic sequences extend for 1kb on the 5' and 1.5kb on the 3' side of the Hin transcription unit.
