      83% of embryos carrying grhNΔ447.hs and heat shocked between 4 and 10 hours do not survive. No obvious cuticular defects are seen. 82% of animals carrying grhNΔ447.hs and heat shocked during the first larval instar stage do not eclose. Dorsal hole in the cuticle.
