      One or two extra copies have no effect on abnormal disjunction of Dp(1;f)1187 derivatives, though it can rescue Dp(1;f)J21A monosome transmission.

      Embryos expressing nodhs.T:Zzzz\FLAG often have spindle abnormalities; 70-80% of spindles are abnormal, usually being asymmetric and occasionally monopolar, and all mitotic domains contain a number of cells with abnormal spindles.

      One or two extra copies of nod provided by P{flag-nodhsp} can partially rescue the transmission of Dp(1;f)J21A and Dp(1;f)10B in the presence of nod3 mutation. The transmission of Dp(1;f)26C can also be improved with one copy of P{flag-nodhsp}.
