      evehb.PP homozygous mutant embryos show a consistent cuticular phenotype including fusions of T2/3, A1/2 and A3/4, and loss of the A6 denticle band. Approximately 20% of hemizygous embryos die with weak and occasional fusions of adjacent denticle bands.
