Insertion 615bp upstream of the ATG codon.
Mutants have a notched wing phenotype.
Wings are scalloped.
Homozygotes have notched wing margins. The notches are usually seen between the second and fifth wing veins, although their number and location varies.
hrgP1 has wing vein phenotype, suppressible by Hunspecified
hrgP1 is an enhancer of wing vein phenotype of dxunspecified
hrgP1 is an enhancer of wing vein L2 phenotype of dxunspecified
hrgP1 is an enhancer of wing vein L3 phenotype of dxunspecified
hrgP1 is an enhancer of wing vein L5 phenotype of dxunspecified
hrgP1 is a suppressor of wing vein phenotype of Hunspecified
Ser1, hrgP1 has wing vein L1 phenotype
hrgP1/hrgP1; SerD/+ flies show synergistic enhancement of the notched wing phenotype, with deeper wing notching than is seen in either hrgP1/hrgP1 or SerD/+ single mutant flies, and loss of most of the first wing vein. The notching is also not restricted to sites between the second and fifth wing vein. Wing phenotypes are synergistically enhanced in dxunspecified/dxunspecified; hrgP1/hrgP1 flies, with enhancement of vein confluences seen mainly in the second, third and fifth veins. Wing notching is also more extreme than in hrgP1/hrgP1 single mutant flies. The wing phenotypes of hrgP1 and Hunspecified single mutants are suppressed in hrgP1; Hunspecified/+ flies, although the thorax bristle phenotype of hrgP1; Hunspecified/+ flies is indistinguishable from that of Hunspecified single mutant flies. The wing phenotype is synergistically enhanced in N55e11/+ ; hrgP1/hrgP1 flies. hrgP1/hrgP1; Df(3R)Dl-FX3/+ flies have an additive phenotype; a confluence and 'delta' phenotype the same as the Df(3R)Dl-FX3 single mutant, and a wing notching phenotype the same as the hrgP1/hrgP1 single mutant.
