    torunspecified mutant larvae exhibit substantial developmental delays in the time to pupariation as compared with heterozygous controls, and the mutants produce larger adults.

    In Ubxhs.PG embryos that are homozygous for torunspecified the C1 belt is the most anterior structure present.

    Embryos derived from torunspecified mutant females show deletion of anterior and posterior structures, including the labrum, dorsal bridge, telson, segment A8 and part of segment A7. Embryos also show a pole hole phenotype. Gain of function antimorphic tor alleles produce the opposite phenotype, with segment defects in the middle of the embryo and terminal structures being present.
