      Heat shock of higD12.hs during pupariation rescues higdd37 defective adult locomotion. rescued adults can jump, fly and do not exhibit body tremors.

      Some lines of P{hsD12} were found to rescue the higP1 mutation to various extents in terms of locomotion and longevity at the adult stages at 25oC. higD12.hs rescues more than 30% of higdd37 flies to adults and exhibits partial rescue of the abnormal locomotion.
