Homozygous or hemizygous embryos show cytokinesis defects during mitosis 16. Cells with multipolar spindles and multiple centrosomes that are associated with a tetraploid mass of chromatin are seen at a very low frequency.
Defect in embryonic PNS development: defect in cell division causing a reduction in the number of neurons and an increase in size of the remaining neurons.
