One copy of Mmus\Pax3prd.PX partially rescues the cuticle phenotype of prd4 homozygous embryos, while two copies fully rescue the phenotype. Two copies of Mmus\Pax3prd.PX fail to rescue prd4/Df(2L)Prl animals to adulthood. Two copies of Mmus\Pax3prd.PX partially rescue viability of prd10/Df(2L)Prl adults, while one copy fails to rescue prd10/Df(2L)Prl viability.

Able to rescue the cuticular phenotype of prd4/Df(2L)Prl transheterozygous embryos. One copy of each P{prd-Gsb} and P{prd-Pax3} gives most efficient rescue of prd transheterozygous embryos to adults, viable adults show distorted abdominal phenotype due to disorganisation of segments.
