One break of a roughly 50kb inversion maps within an intron of sdk. The other break is approx. 15kb upstream of the start of transcription. The aberration breakpoint is localized to a restriction fragment. The position of the restriction fragment on the dsreference sequence was inferred by a FlyBase curator
