        The EcollacZrho-5 enhancer trap was used to examine ve expression in pupal wing discs. Reporter expression was restricted to the pro-vein regions of the developing wing.

        Enhancer trap expression is observed along the ventral midline and at segment boundaries. Internally, expression is observed in the proventriculus, a loop in the hindgut, in rings at the base of the posterior spiracles, and just above the pharynx.
