Expression of arm^ΔC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 results in some disruption of the wing margin and the cross veins and a few ectopic bristles in the wing.

Overexpression of arm^ΔC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 results in ectopic wing vein formation and the formation of margin bristles in the wing blade, as well as loss of bristles in the wing margin.

Expression of arm^ΔC.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^arm.PS in arm²/+ embryos derived from homozygous arm² female germline clones leads to a weak segment polarity phenotype (extra denticles in naked cuticle regions).
