    eya2m23a/eyaE(P)10 adults exhibit eyes similar to controls.

    eyacs/eyaE(P)10 adults exhibit less severe eye phenotypes than eyacs/eya2, eyacs/eya1, eyacs/In(2LR)ETD2.2 and eyacs/eyacs adults.

    eya3/eyaE(P)10 have egg chambers which contain abnormal germline cells. In extreme cases, ovarian development ceases in the germarium and the germarium appears swollen compared to wild type.

    eya1/eyaE(P)10 flies are eyeless. More than 50% of eyaE1/eyaE(P)10, eyaE4/eyaE(P)10, eyaE7/eyaE(P)10, eyaE8/eyaE(P)10, eyaE11/eyaE(P)10 or eyaE12/eyaE(P)10 animals die as embryos. Less than 50% of eyaIR1/eyaE(P)10 animals die as embryos.

    The setal belts are often condensed in eyaD1/eyaE(P)10 embryos and the cephalopharyngeal skeleton is broad, fused and distorted.
