      Shows, with low penetrance, a mutant wing phenotype like that of ara1 or Df(3L)iro-2. More than 30% of araB6.8/Df(3L)iro-2 survive. They display outheld wings and either duplicated or missing thoracic bristles. araB6.8/ararF209 transheterozygotes are viable and some display outheld wings.
