Partly rescues the phenotype of embryos derived from homozygous dl¹ females; partly rescues both dorso-ventral cuticle pattern defects and defects in gastrulation. The degree of ventralisation seen in these rescued embryos is increased if the females are also heterozygous for cact⁷.
