Over-expression of ap^Scer\UAS.cRa when driven by Scer\GAL4^32B causes a severe ablation of wing blade tissue. Expression of ap^Scer\UAS.cRa driven by Scer\GAL4^dpp.blk1 causes venation defects, ectopic wing margins, outgrowths on the ventral compartment and a notch at the distal tip of the wing.

Expression of ap^Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 or Scer\GAL4^32B results in severe wing defects which are virtually indistinguishable from the severe wing defects caused by expression of Hsap\LHX2^Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 or Scer\GAL4^32B respectively.
