Flies carrying two copies of E(spl)K1K2mut in a wild-type background show peripheral nervous system and/or venation defects. These defects include loss of anterior orbital, postvertical and scutellar macrochaetae, loss of interocellar microchaetae and extra or missing crossvein material.
