Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous clones in the wing produce wing blisters. takV27/takV42 embryos show dramatic defects, including a dorsal open or tail-up phenotype. The embryos undergo germ band retraction but are unable to complete dorsal closure or head involution. The gut does not become normally constricted and frequently extrudes through the dorsal hole as a large sphere. Many unfused myoblasts are seen.
