      Suppresses the retinal degeneration phenotype of rdgB9 flies; 50% of rdgB9; su(rdgB)8282 flies retain a deep pseudopupil at days 3 and 13 under constant light and 12 hour light:dark conditions, respectively. 10 day old rdgB9; su(rdgB)8282 flies show variable retinal degeneration, from a few missing rhabdomeres with highly variable R1-R6 rhabdomere size, to a phenotype indistinguishable from 10 day old rdgB9 flies.
