      Strongly suppresses the retinal degeneration phenotype of rdgB9 flies; 20 day old flies lack only a few rhabdomeres per ommatidium and the electroretinogram light response amplitude of newly eclosed flies is partly rescued. Suppresses the retinal degeneration phenotype of rdgB2 flies; the time course of deep pseudopupil loss is slowed compared to rdgB2 flies, but the electroretinogram light response of newly eclosed rdgB2 ; su(rdgB)6969 flies is nearly identical to that of rdgB2 flies.
