      Comments

      Expression of the sqdB isoform is not sufficient to rescue the dorsal-ventral patterning defects found in sqd1 mutants, such that the eggs remain unfertilised.

      The nurse cell chromosome defect seen in sqd1 homozygotes is partially rescued by 2 copies of sqdB, amd almost completely rescued by sqdB + sqdA or + sqdS.
