Contains a 13.5 kb XbaI genomic fragment including Syx1A transcription unit.
Reported as a 13.5kb XbaI genomic fragment; the size of the fragment on the reference sequence is closer to 17kb. The position of the restriction fragment on the reference sequence was inferred by a FlyBase curator.
Syx1AΔ229 and Syx1A06737 flies rescued with Syx1A+t13.5, like wild-type, undergo peristaltic muscle contractions prior to hatching. They also show a robust response to tactile stimulation. Syx1AΔ229 embryos rescued with Syx1A+t13.5 exhibit wild-type cuticle phenotypes. Using whole-cell patch-clamp analysis Syx1AΔ229 homozygotes rescued by Syx1A+t13.5 show a robust evoked neurotransmission.
Rescues the lethality of Syx1AΔ229. Rescued embryos show normal spontaneous movement and response to touch.
Rescues Syx1AΔ229 to adult viability. Rescues Syx1A06737 to adult viability.
