      Expression of armR.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c in a wild-type background results in a partial conversion of anterior epidermal cells to a posterior naked cuticle fate in embryos. Expression of armR.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c in embryos that are maternally and zygotically mutant for arm2 sometimes results in a phenotype similar to, but weaker than, that caused by expression of armR.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c in a wild-type background.
