    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

The programmed cell death of bursCCAP neurons seen in the adult ventral nerve cord of wild type flies after eclosion is partially suppressed in th6-3s mutant homozygotes. An average of four bursCCAP neurons are seen at 3-5 days.

th6-3s mutant C4da neurons appear to develop dendrites as normal throughout the larval stage. However, unlike wild-type C4da neurons that completely prune their larval dendrites by 18 hours after puparium formation, C4da neurons in th6-3s mutants fail to efficiently sever larval dendrites at 18 hours after puparium formation.

    Additional Comments
    Genetic Interactions
    Statement
    Reference

A th6-3s heterozygous background significantly suppresses apoptosis induced by expression of rprUTR.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.

Addition of th6-3s strongly suppresses the phenotype seen in rprGMR.PW and WGMR.PG flies.
