Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous embryos have an excess of cardioblasts. The somatic muscle pattern appears grossly normal in mutant embryos, but the size of the dorsal muscles (such as the DA1 muscle) appears reduced. The mutant DA1 muscle contains fewer nuclei than the wild-type DA1 muscle.

lqfAG/Df(3L)lqf-cE278 animals die as embryos.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

lqfAG dominantly suppresses the rough eye phenotype of RalaEE1/Y adults, with a greater proportion of ommatidia being completely normal in the double mutant flies.

fafBX3/fafFO8 eyes are nearly wild type. The eyes are severely malformed if the flies are also carrying one copy of lqfAG.
