Selected as: a presumed recessive cell lethal mutation on the P{neoFRT}40A w+ chromosome that enhances the size of w- Scer\FLP1ey.PN induced clones in the eye (because cells homozygous for the P{neoFRT}40A w+ chromosome carrying the putative cell lethal do not survive), but does not have deleterious effects on viability and fertility.
