Dcp-1fl.GMR flies carrying one copy of the responsible transgene P{GMR-fl-Dcp-1} have almost wild-type eyes. Flies carrying two copies of P{GMR-fl-Dcp-1} have a weak but reproducible eye phenotype, inducing some pigment cell death. The combination of Dcp-1ΔN.GMR and Dcp-1fl.GMR show an additive effect on the eye phenotype.
Dcp-1fl.GMR has visible phenotype, enhanceable by hidGMR.PG
Dcp-1fl.GMR has visible phenotype, enhanceable by grimGMR.PC
Dcp-1fl.GMR has visible phenotype, enhanceable by rprGMR.PW
Dcp-1fl.GMR has eye phenotype, enhanceable by hidGMR.PG
Dcp-1fl.GMR has eye phenotype, enhanceable by grimGMR.PC
Dcp-1fl.GMR has eye phenotype, enhanceable by rprGMR.PW
Dcp-1fl.GMR has phenotype, non-enhanceable by DriceΔN.GMR
Dcp-1fl.GMR is a non-enhancer of phenotype of DriceΔN.GMR
Dcp-1fl.GMR is a non-enhancer of phenotype of Dricefl.GMR
The addition of Dcp-1fl.GMR to Icefl.GMR or IceΔN.GMR flies has no effect on eye morphology. The addition of WGMR.PG to Dcp-1fl.GMR flies show a weak enhancement of the eye phenotype seen in these flies. The addition of rprGMR.PW or grimGMR.PC to Dcp-1fl.GMR flies show a strong enhancement of the eye phenotype seen in Dcp-1fl.GMR flies. The addition of WGMR.PG to Dcp-1fl.GMR flies show no significant enhancement of the eye phenotype seen in Dcp-1fl.GMR flies.
