      A small number of sisA4/Y males survive to adulthood. These surviving males are fertile and have normal morphology. The non-sex-specific sisA4 temperature sensitive period begins at about 2.75 hours after fertilisation and ends less than 2 hours later (normalised to 25oC) during germ band extension.
