Comments

The turning rate defect observed in sbb⁰³⁴³² homozygous third instar larvae is rescued by sbb^hs.PY in the absence of heat-shock.

(Suster et al., 2004)

sbb⁰³⁴³² animals rescued by expression of sbb^hs.PY are completely fertile. The sbb⁰³⁴³² wing vein phenotype is restored to normal when 4 (but not 2) copies of sbb^hs.PY are present in flies reared at 25^oC.
