        Six copies of the bcd gene (bcd+t8.7 and bcd+t8) are necessary to rescue some anterior structures in about 15% of trk4 derived embryos. However not all embryos with rescued labrum and dorsal bridge have a perfectly aligned head skeleton. Occasionally embryos survive long enough to hatch and move around.
