TR-avidin update is blocked in homozygous Hsc70-4^Δ16 cells, resulting in a decrease in both surface-bound and internalised tracer.

Flow cytometric analysis of mosaic wing imaginal discs reveals an increased cell size and increased G2 population in Hsc70-4^Δ16 mutant cells, relative to wild-type. This effects are acutely dosage-sensitive, as Hsc70-4^Δ16/+ heterozygous cells are also larger than wild-type.

Homozygous larvae show sporadic but reduced muscle contractions.
