        svrugoso-nu/svspa-pol animals have rough eyes and normal body hairs. svrugoso-nu/svn flies show loss of hairs. svrugoso-nu/T(1;4)scH flies eclose with a severe loss of body hairs, are sterile and die soon after eclosion.
