Male flies mis-expressing the constitutively active Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 and Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B at 30[o]C for 2 days (to allow gene expression) and then at 19[o]C exhibit no difference in sleep patterns compared to controls.

Overexpression of Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 induces female sterility with meiotic defects.

Overexpression of Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS in the developing wing driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E causes loss of wing veins and reduction in wing size. Co-expression of Pp2B-14DDN.Scer\UAS.P\T with Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E suppresses the Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS-induced phenotypes.

Eye-specific expression of Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF promotes a rough eye phenotype in wild-type flies.

Flies that express Pp2B-14Dact.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF show a mild rough eye phenotype.
