      Overexpression of smoUAS.GFP under the control of either Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 or Scer\GAL471B affects wing patterning. Wings display extra crossveins between the longitudinal veins (LV) LV2 and LV3, an enlargement of LV3-LV4 spacing and a thickening of vein LV3.

      When smoScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP is driven by Scer\GAL471B, an extra crossvein is seen between wing veins L2 and L3 in 10-20% of progeny.
