Irradiated eye discs from larvae expressing p53D259H.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF have few apoptotic cells posterior to the morphogenetic furrow (where p53D259H.Scer\UAS is expressed) and only have abundant apoptotic cells anterior to the furrow (wild-type irradiated disc have an increased number of apoptotic cells both anterior and posterior to the furrow).
