Expression of neurΔRING.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PU results in notching phenotype in the adult wing margin.

Expression of neurΔRING.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4c747 does not affect learning. 260-minute and 24-hour memories are significantly higher in neurΔRING.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP-expressing flies than in controls. Enhanced memory is also observed when neurΔRING.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 but not Scer\GAL4c739 or Scer\GAL4H24. These flies respond normally to stimuli and mushroom body morphology is indistinguishable from controls.
