      The eggs laid by spn-E9A9-18/spn-Ehls-Δ125 mutant females exhibit severe dorsoventral patterning defects, with a high percentage of collapsed eggs or eggs with no dorsal appendages.

      The oocyte is smaller in size in spn-E9A9-18 mutant germline clones in comparison with controls.
