Reference

Expression of p53^EP-1 under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF results in a reduction in eye size. Co-expression of p53^Ct.GUS suppresses the disruption of the eye caused by expression of p53^EP-1 under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF. Expression of p53^EP-1 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 results in a reduction in size of the wing. Imaginal discs expressing p53^EP-1 under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 show an increase in apoptotic cells in the p53^EP-1 over-expressing region, but the number of mitotic cells is not reduced.
