Detailed Description

Expression of one copy of byScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in flies with smaller wings that normal that are convex in shape. This phenotype is more severe when two copies of byScer\UAS.cLa are overexpressed. Apoptotic cell death in the wing imaginal discs of these animals is dramatically increased compared to wild type.
