The wings of arr::fz2^{arr.intra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC}; Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 flies exhibit ectopic veination and ectopic wing margin bristle formation at locations away from the margin. arr::fz2^{arr.intra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC}; Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 embryos exhibit loss of several rows of ventral denticles: rows 1 and 2 are generally normal, 3 is disrupted, and 4-6 are lost. This phenotype is more penetrant in the more posterior parasegments.

arr::fz2^{arr.intra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC}; Scer\GAL4^prd.RG1 restore smooth cuticle formation in wg^l-17/wg^l-17 embryos. The loss of naked cuticle in arr²/arr² embryos is partially suppressed by arr::fz2^{arr.intra.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC}; Scer\GAL4^prd.RG1. Suppression is more robust in more anterior segments.
