Embryos expressing fat2^{dsRNA.Scer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^prd.RG1 have tracheal defects, including deletions in the dorsal trunk and formation of doughnut-like structures. Embryos expressing fat2^{dsRNA.Scer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^αTub84B.PL have tracheal defects, such as deletions in the dorsal trunk or complete lack of tracheae. The salivary glands are missing and the proventriculus and hindgut are highly disorganised in these embryos.
