      Expression of MitfEA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4c311 results in early larval lethality. Expression of MitfEA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in eye-antennal discs with larger eye regions than normal and an expanded developing photoreceptor field.
