        Female BG00080BG00080 mutants show an increased lifespan compared to controls. No change in lifespan is seen in males.

        Starvation response is reduced in both males and females at 1 week and 6 weeks.

        Chill coma recovery time in males and females is increased compared to controls at one week. Recovery time in males is similar to controls at 6 weeks but is still increased in females.

        No change in climbing ability is seen in either males or females at 1 week but improved fitness compared to controls is seen in both sexes at 6 weeks .

        BG00080BG00080 mutant flies (males and females pooled) sleep on average 222.6 minutes longer per 24 hours than wild type flies. Although both males and females exhibit increased sleep when analysed individually, there is a significant difference between the sexes.
