      Expression of SceScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS completely rescues the cuticle phenotype of embryos lacking both maternal and zygotic Sce function (homozygous Sce1 embryos derived from females carrying homozygous Sce1 germ-line clones). Expression of SceScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4prd.RG1 rescues the cuticle phenotype of embryos lacking both maternal and zygotic Sce function (homozygous Sce1 embryos derived from females carrying homozygous Sce1 germ-line clones) in the Scer\GAL4prd.RG1 expression domains.
