Expression of tgoΔc.Scer\UAS under the regulation of Scer\GAL4sim.P3.7 in the central nervous system midline is associated with alterations in commissural and longitudinal axon formation. Longitudinal connectives are thinner than in wild-type embryos and the commissural axons are either not properly separated or do not form at all. Expression of tgoΔc.Scer\UAS under the regulation of Scer\GAL4btl.PS results in a reduction in the number of btl-expressing embryonic midline glia compared to wild-type. In the trachea, there are reductions in the number of cells expressing btl in the dorsal trunk, ganglionic branches and dorsal branches compared with wild-type embryos.
Co-expression of tgoΔc.Scer\UAS and trhScer\UAS.cWa under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4elav-C155 does not result in a rough eye phenotype.
