The penetrance of the wing blistering phenotype seen in females expressing Fak56DScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E at 25oC is increased from 28% to 40% if they are carrying mysb43/+. Males expressing Fak56DScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E at 25oC and hemizygous for mysb43 show 21% wing blistering (compared to 0% wing blistering in a mys+ background).
