      Comments

      When Z600+t1.7 is expressed in Df(3L)BK10 mutant embryos, the majority have a normal timing of mitosis and form a proper ventral furrow. Expression of Z600+t1.7 in embryos homozygous for Df(3L)BK10 restores the number of cleavage divisions to the wild-type number (13 instead of the 14 seen in some Df(3L)BK10 embryos) in most embryos.
