Expression of KuldsRNA.Scer\UAS.pro under the control of Scer\GAL4neur-P72 in polar follicle cells (the flies also carry Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B, but the Scer\GAL80 protein has been inactivated by shifting adult flies to 29oC for 2-3 days) results in an increase in the average number of cells in the stalk between egg chambers.

Expression of KuldsRNA.Scer\UAS.pro under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B results in an increase in the average number of cells in the stalk between egg chambers.

When driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 mutant animals exhibit distorted wings. When driven by Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 mutant animals exhibit distorted wings, and loss of the wing margin. When driven by Scer\GAL4salm-459.2 mutant animals exhibit two distinct wing phenotypes. Multiple wing hairs and a partial loss of veins are seen in the expressed domain.
